The Winnipeg Clinic Vision Care Centre is a full service eye centre located conveniently on the main floor of the Winnipeg Clinic in Downtown Winnipeg. We provide eye care services to many downtown employees including those from the University of Winnipeg and the new Manitoba Hydro building. We bring our patients a combination of over 80 years of expertise in the eye care field. Dr. James D. Reeves Optometrist Dr James Reeves is a graduate of the University of Waterloo School of Optometry (1975) and has been in private practice in Winnipeg since then. His association with the Winnipeg Clinic began in 1998. Dr Reeves provides primary care eye examinations and vision care services at the Winnipeg Clinic location and works in close association with Mr. Douglas Benoit, Optician. Contact him at 957-3305 for an appointment from Monday to Thursday between the hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Douglas Benoit Optician Doug Benoit began in the optical business in 1963 working in a local lens fabricating lab. From there he became interested in being a dispensing optician. In early 1965 he was the first person to take the 'Canadian Guild' home study course, which at that time was the only way to become an optician. His entire career has been spent helping his clients with their optical needs, dispensing quality products, solving interesting and challenging visual problems and managing his own business.
